Since May 2001, Joe Ripepi has created and operated Acumen Enterprises using as its foundations, a sixteen-year professional career in the Western Australian local government sector, coupled with a sound academic background in public policy. Experience In his capacity as a self-employed consultant operating within the public policy arena and inter-governmental environment since May 2001, Joe brings a range of policy development/assessment and stakeholder consultation skills which are considered highly beneficial in pursuing client objectives. Joe specialises in preparing submissions and providing policy advice to organisations operating in the inter-governmental arena with particular emphasis on Local Governments. In April 2003, Acumen Enterprises was invited to membership of LGInfo Group. This entity is a nation wide group of independent consultants bringing transport, asset management, engineering and strategic policy services to Local Governments and public sector organisations across all spheres.
