LGA40100 Certificate IV in Local Government (Governance & Administration) [Rangers]
This course is designed for those working at a high level in Local Government. It is suitable for both Local Government Rangers and those working in other relevant areas of Local Government.
Duration: Core Units (290 hrs). Specialisation electives (min 120 hrs/max 200 hrs). Ranger electives (min 50 hrs/max 172 hrs)
Core units (all must be completed):

Specialisation electives- common:
Ranger Focus: Choose four from here & a minimum of five from Ranger electives.
General: Choose a total of nine from either Common (min of four) or Ranger electives
Conduct public educational presentations
Establish cooperative arrangements with other organizations
Implement and monitor the organizations OH&S policies
Investigate alleged breaches of legislation and prepare documentation
Represent council at legal proceedings
Prepare tender documentation
Prepare response to tenders
