LGA40100 Certificate IV in Local Government (Governance & Administration) [Rangers] This course is designed for those working at a high level in Local Government. It is suitable for both Local Government Rangers and those working in other relevant areas of Local Government. Duration: Core Units (290 hrs). Specialisation electives (min 120 hrs/max 200 hrs). Ranger electives (min 50 hrs/max 172 hrs) Core units (all must be completed): Follow defined occupational health & safety policies and procedures Work effectively in the Local Government context Work with others in Local Government Provide leadership in Local Government Participate in, lead and facilitate work teams Manage operations to achieve planned outcomes Specialisation electives- common: Ranger Focus: Choose four from here & a minimum of five from Ranger electives.
